Come and join me for a combination of games, physical skills and practices to expand your awareness and connection with the living world. Great for adults and kids.

FRIDAY - 11.30am - Deliverance Opening Ceremony

Part of “Doing things in a good way” - honouring the land, the community and each other.

Welcome to Country with Aunty Pauline - Ngoorabul. Hear about the culture of the land and learn a dance to honour the land with Mudjai - Gumbayngirr. Be welcomed to our community and all that lives in this valley.

Ceremonial Staff - you are invited to bring or make a small sacred item that is your gift, you can attach it to the staff (organic materials). This will create a central focus of intention and energy for the festival. See below for more info:

SATURDAY MORNING - 9.30 - 11.30am - Guided River Walk with tracking, bird language and options to swim

An opportunity to come and explore part of our beautiful valley with me and other locals, take a little break form the festival space, to refresh and connect with nature😁

Tracking - let’s unravel the mysteries of the many animal, bird and reptile tracks which are easy to see on the sandy banks of the river. Bird Language - Birds are the great communicators of the natural world, most other species listen to the birds to know what is happening their area.

SUNDAY EVENING - 8.00pm - Deliverance Closing Ceremony - All amazing things must come to an end!

Time to give thanks to the land, the community, the Bru and all the fabulous musicians, artists and supporters who made this possible, time to release the magic spell that is Deliverance!

Sacred Staff Ceremony

I will be creating a sacred staff for Deliverance, it will be in the main festival area (I will post exact location later this week)

A sacred staff is a way for the collective intention and energy of the group to have a focus, by us attaching our items to the staff in a ceremonial way, we each bring a small piece of who we are and offer it in this ceremony, a way to directly connect us together and to the earth.

I’m inviting everyone to bring or make a small sacred item, by this I mean a small natural/organic item that carries your intention and in someway holds a little piece of what is sacred to you. This could be a flower, grass plaited together, a feather, a shell, whatever you are drawn to that holds that energy for you during the festival.

This item is a giveaway or gift. I believe it’s powerful to offer a gift to the land and place that you will receive so much from, this is how traditional earth based cultures do things.

The invitation is to tie your item to the staff, when you arrive or during the opening ceremony - 11.30am Friday.

Please do this with ceremony - take a breath to quieten your mind, feel your feet on the earth, focus on the intention you have for this festival as you tie your item on😊 (natural twine will be available for this) It will remain there during the festival, holding an energetic centre. A lovely place to visit during the festival😉

We will hold a ceremony on Monday to release all the energy back to the earth or wherever it needs to go, using a small sacred fire.
